The blue and white butter dish has an octagonal rectangular shape and forms a whole with the stand which has a sloping wall. The butter dish has two raised, outward-projecting handles with profiled top rim. The handles are pierced. The flattened lid has two notches on each side for handles. The lid knob is executed in the shape of a bunch of purple grapes on four green leaves. Stand and lid have a profiled rim. The butter dish is painted with a segmented floral decor. Small floral sprigs are painted on the well of the stand and the area around the lid knob.
