The blue-and-white plate has a wide, flat flange and is painted in the centre with the Biblical representation of Jephthah’s homecoming (Judges 11:34, 35). The decor is framed in a double circle. The flange is decorated with two winged cherub heads and four flowers in a decor of stylised foliate scrolls. The outer rim of the plate is plain blue.
Dimensions: diameter 21,7 cm / 8.54 in.

This Bible decor also appears on Rotterdam tiles - a reason to attribute this plate to Rotterdam.
