The blue and white bowl stands on a straight foot, has a spreading wall and is painted with a chinoiserie decor. The upper part of the outer wall is painted all around with five Chinese figures sitting in an oriental landscape. The lower part of the wall consists of a band with five oval-shaped panels, alternated with stylized flowers with leaves. The panels are filled with a flower on a ground of scroll ornaments. A band of four scroll ornaments is applied above the foot. In the centre of the bowl, within a double circle, a simplified landscape has been painted of a bird on a rock between plants.
