The Peacock pottery

The dish has a small flange and is painted in polychrome with the so-called lightning decor. The center is decorated with an irregular-shaped cartouche, filled with flowers and grass. The border is divided into three sections with leaves and floral branches, separated by three cartouches filled floral motifs. The decor takes its name from the hook- and zigzag-shaped blue and red stripes in the border.
