The octagonal bottle vases stand on a wide, spreading foot with a garlic neck over a spherical body ending in a trumpet-shaped mouth. The vases are painted with a continuous chinoiserie design. Around the foot, the body, the neck and the bulb four continuous landscapes are painted, in which Chinese figures are depicted. The trumpet-shaped mouths are painted with a notched scroll motif above a double line.
