The lozenge-shaped plaque has a raised, accolade-shaped rim interrupted at the top by a large shell with suspension hole and at the bottom by a smaller shell. A shell is also modelled on both sides. The plaque is painted polychrome with a floral chinoiserie decor consisting of a parrot and bird in a flowering tree near open rocks. A butterfly flies in the sky. The raised rim is painted with a scale decor in yellow and red, alternating with floral twigs. The shells are accentuated in green and red. The outer rim is blue. A pewter shield engraved with a lion with three stars is attached to the lower shell.
