The polychrome painted butter saleswoman is placed on a square base. She is wearing a blue jacket with yellow ribbons and flowers. On her head she wears a yellow hat with red ribbon. Her skirt consists of narrow yellow strips interspersed with wider strips filled with floral and leafy scrolls. With both hands she holds a tub containing four large clumps of butter.
